The most prominent British "Bafta" awards

 Netflix's 'All Quiet' has won 14 BAFTA nominations. A first version from the perspective of a young German soldier. The BAFTA newspaper is the highest honor in the British film industry.


The German version of the classic film, competition, film and television, BAFTA, won Best Film. , and is based on a 1928 published novel by German writer Erich, Germany First from the perspective of a young German.

The BAFTA Awards are the highest honors in the British film industry. The ceremony was held at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

In all, the film won seven awards: Best Film, Adapted Screenplay, Best Film Not Written in English, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Sound and Best Original Score.

Actresses Kerry Condon and actor Barry Coogan took home two awards in the Best Supporting Actor category for their roles in "The Nymphs of Enchantment," the story of two friends at enmity on a remote island off the coast of Ireland.

The film, along with "Everything, Everywhere, Once Upon a Time," received 10 nominations. Winner in the Best Actor category is Austin Butler for Elvis.

Cate Blanchett also won best actress for her role in "Tar," in which she plays an LGBT conductor at the Berlin Philharmonic whose career is upended by an assault scandal.

Edward Berger won Best Director for "All Quiet on the Western Front."
